Roasted Cauliflower and Bangin’ Bang Bang Sauce

Writer's picture: lizzielizzie

I’m not going to lie. This may be the easiest and most delicious little dish you make for yourself. The Bang Bang Sauce can be used for a million other things, like stir fry, salad dressing and even as a tofu marinade. It’s only a pity that there is no sexy photo, the bang bang sauce is nothing to write home about:

Nevertheless, here is the recipe:

-1 thumb sized ginger piece, peeled -2 garlic cloves -juice of 1 lime -1 tbsp peanut butter (organic always best) -1 tbsp sesame oil -1 tbsp tamari sauce -1 tbsp rice vinegar -1 tbsp maple syrup -3-4 tbsp water

Put all this in a blender and whizz together. Done.

As for the roasted cauliflower, well, take 1 head of cauliflower, wash and cut it up with nut oil and sea salt. Roast at high temp (210 Celsius) for 45 minutes, flipping a few times to ensure both sizes are well browned and crispy. Serve with the Bang Bang sauce, and add some chilli pepper if you need a little more BangBang!
